Wedding Gowns
Visit Weddings 826 and select from more than 100 beautiful wedding gowns
We have more than 100 different styles of dresses to choose from in our store, so you can try an assortment of different styles during your hour-long Gown appointment. Our inventory changes constantly with new dresses constantly being added as dresses are sold. Our gowns are "off-the-rack", so if you decide on a Weddings 826 gown you can take it home with you that day!
The most important part of your wedding day (besides the groom) is your wedding dress! The gorgeous gown that you wear only one special day, but enjoy the memories and photos of for generations to come. Choosing the gown is one of the first steps in planning a wedding, and it sets the tone and mood for the entire wedding. The bride is the celebrated centerpiece of this joyous occasion, so once you have chosen what type of bride you want to be, many of the other decisions for the wedding planning will be made easier. For example, if you know you want to have a 12-foot train and an elaborate tiara, your choices of location would likely exclude a backyard-barbeque style wedding. A tea-length or sheath dress would fit the bill for a laid-back bride who imagined herself lightly floating around Mom and Dad’s backyard. So choose your dress and the rest of the planning will follow suit.
Do you have gowns there or do you have to order them?
All of our gowns are "off-the-rack" which means we have the gowns right here. No ordering from a catalog based on "samples". You can see the actual gown and even take it home with you that day if you choose.
Where do you get your gowns? We have a number of suppliers including:
-- We now also carry a few designer labels including La Sposa by Pronovias, Enzoani Blue Label, Angelina Bridal, Winnie Couture to name a few. These dresses are also offered off the rack, but we are able to order different colors and sizes as needed.
-- Directly from the manufacturer (styles we have selected from smaller and/or independent lines at bridal trade shows), manufacturer under-runs (never put into production), and manufacturer over-runs (too many produced in any certain size or color.)
-- -- Local Bridal Salons-Discontinued Designer Samples. Some recent dresses were from popular designers including - Melissa Sweet, Jim Hjelm, Marisa, & Paula Varsalona. However, to name a few but our inventory changes constantly.
-- Local designer one-of-a kinds. These are rare finds, but we usually have a few handmade dresses from local designers.
Do you sell "used" wedding dresses? No. While some wedding shops offer "consignment" dresses - dresses that were already worn by at least one bride for her wedding - we don't have any dresses on consignment. Our dresses are new or samples from stores or sometimes worn for a fashion show. It will be "your" wedding dress. What you do with it after the wedding is up to you. (Although we can help you preserve it if that is your choice!)
What sizes do you have available?
Sizes available are typically 6-8-10, and will fit any bride between a 0 and 12.
Do you do alterations? Absolutely! And we are happy to alter a dress even if it was purchased somehwere else. Visit our Alterations page for more details.
Can I take a picture of a gown I am considering? Yes! Bring your camera to your gown appointment and you can take as many pictures as you like. It can be daunting to remember everything you saw, and then you can email it to Mom.
Can I put a dress on layaway? We do not hold any dresses under any circumstances.
What price range can I expect? Prices normally range between $800- $2500, averaging about $1400.
If I change my mind can I return the gown? All gown sales are final. No Exceptions.
