Bridal Appointments
Come try on some beautiful dresses with the help of one of our great stylists. All our stylists are trained formally in fashion/design. Best part we are not commission based! We are here for you because we love all things wedding! We offer one hour appointments, over 300 styles, with both off the rack and ordering options and we have in house tailoring!!

Do we not have a specific dress on our show room you're looking for? Buy a sample dress that needs cleaning? What should you do after the wedding with your dress?
In house Borrowing Program
Do we not have a dress your looking for from our designers? The borrowing program allows us to get in a dress that we don't have a sample of from the designer. We do not get to pick the size or color unless there are multiple dresses in the program. It's $100 to get a dress in house, however if that is The Dress! Then the fee goes towards your purchase otherwise it will cover the shipping back and forth.
Dry Cleaning
Did you buy a sample wedding gown? Weddings 826 offers sourced dry cleaning for bridal gowns! We recommend cleaning your gown about 4-6 weeks before your first alterations appointment. As cleaning can take this long to complete. This will ensure your gown is clean, pressed and ready to be worked on!
Wedding Gown Preservation
What to do after the wedding? We work with a company that has been around for over 100 years. They use an organic compound to preserve their gowns to guarantee no yellowing or aging of the dress for up to 100 years. Preservation will include dry cleaning and a storage box where you will have a window to see your gown on a bust form in the box. A veil preservation is also included. This process will take 2-3 months

Weddings 826 was established in 1997 as an invitation and wedding planning company. Suzi Mijailovic joined the Weddings 826 team in 2003, took ownership in 2005 and turned Weddings 826 into the unique and renowned bridal boutique in the heart of Lincoln Park. Weddings 826 expanded to exclusively offer a wide range of bridal dresses, accessories, and alterations. The store soon built a reputation as the shop that offers “everything for your wedding.”
We love what we do and we have been privileged to help thousands of brides find their dream wedding gown and accessories for weddings throughout Chicago and around the globe. Our goal is to give every bride the best experience possible and our full attention. We offer an environment that is welcoming, relaxing, and fun plus we have a shop pup named Poppy! We are a noncommission based boutique that believes in building genuine connections with our brides. We have private dressing rooms for our brides and showrooms for the bride's party to wait in while we change dresses. Your bridal stylist will assist you in selecting dresses that fit your style and budget. We offer of-the-rack samples, new gowns to order or last one discontinued samples at a discount.
